Delivery Information

Most orders are shipped using Royal Mail First Class Signed For Delivery, therefore your delivery address should be one where you will be able to sign for your goods.

Delivery Charges
Standard delivery charges are listed below, these are based on total weight of the order being placed. We reserve the right to pass on any additional charges where specialist shipping methods are required i.e. the use of couriers or international shipping. We will advise you of any additional shipping costs during processing of your order.

We aim to despatch orders within 24 hours, 2-7 working days should be allowed for delivery. In the unlikely event of a delivery not arriving, it is standard policy of the Royal Mail that a delivery is not missing for 15 working days, therefore we are unable to assist in missing deliveries during this period, we will arrange for a suitable resolution after this time.


Silver Service Next Day Delivery
Upgrade from our standard delivery service to a NEXT DAY service for a single upgrade payment. Just add this Silver Delivery Service upgrade product to your basket to get your gifts the next day.

Any order placed by 1pm on weekdays will be despatched that same day using our silver delivery service. Orders received after 1pm are not guaranteed to be despatch same day, but will be despatched within 24hrs.
We do not offer Next Day for Saturday delivery - orders placed by 1pm Friday for Next Day should be expected for delivery on Monday.
We cannot guarantee same day despatch on Saturdays, but we will aim to despatch any orders received by 10am same day.

Please be aware that personalised items may not be shipped same day, but are usually shipped within 24hrs when using Silver Service

The user account that you create during the checkout process will allow you to track the progression of your order(s).

    The status that can be assigned to your order are shown below:
  • Order Received: Your order is currently waiting to be processed.
  • Order Processing: Your order is currently being picked and packed.
  • Order Despatched: Your order has been passed to the Royal Mail or Courier from our warehouse.
  • Return Received: Your returned item or items have been received at our warehouse.
  • Refunded: This applies to any order where a refund has been given for any item or the whole order.
  • Cancelled: The order has been cancelled by either Amys Gifts or yourself.

If you are not in when your parcel arrives Royal Mail will keep the package at their local depot for 7 days enabling you to pick it up. After 7 days the parcel then returns to us. We reserve the right to pass on redelivery charges for any order returned to us.
If any questions should arise, regarding your order. We will try to contact you by email and if that fails, we will try to contact you by phone if a number was provided.

Returns procedure

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.

Goods damaged in transit must be reported within 2 days of receipt, please ensure all items are inspected on receipt.

For goods damaged during transit, retain all packaging and the item as these will need to be inspected by the courier as part of the claim procedure. Refund amount will be based on compensation provided by courier.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 50% of the original selling price from the refund amount.

Personalised products should not be returned. Personalised gifts are made to order and therefore will not be resaleable.

Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods when received, upon return of the unused goods to us.

If you wish to return an item, please use the "Contact Us" link from the Information box to the left of your screen. Please quote your name and order number and we will then be able to advise the most appropriate returns procedure.
