Delivery Information

Most orders are shipped using Tracked Royal Mail or Courier. You will not normally need to sign for deliveries and can nominate a safe place to leave items when you are out.

We aim to despatch orders within 36 hours, 2-7 working days should be allowed for delivery. In the unlikely event of a delivery not arriving, it is standard policy of the Royal Mail that a delivery is not missing for 15 working days, therefore we are unable to assist in missing deliveries during this period, we will arrange for a suitable resolution after this time.


The user account that you create during the checkout process will allow you to track the progression of your order(s).

    The status that can be assigned to your order are shown below:
  • Order Received: Your order is currently waiting to be processed.
  • Order Processing: Your order is currently being picked and packed.
  • Order Despatched: Your order has been passed to the Royal Mail or Courier from our warehouse.
  • Return Received: Your returned item or items have been received at our warehouse.
  • Refunded: This applies to any order where a refund has been given for any item or the whole order.
  • Cancelled: The order has been cancelled by either Amys Gifts or yourself.

If you are not in when your parcel arrives Royal Mail will keep the package at their local depot for 7 days enabling you to pick it up. After 7 days the parcel then returns to us. We reserve the right to pass on redelivery charges for any order returned to us.
If any questions should arise, regarding your order. We will try to contact you by email and if that fails, we will try to contact you by phone if a number was provided.

Returns procedure

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. However occasionally there may be a requirement to return or exchange items.

Personalised items cannot be refunded or returned but if there is an issue with your purchase please contact us and we may be able to exchange or replace the item.

Should you wish to return any items that have not been personalised purchased from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.

Goods damaged in transit must be reported within 2 days of receipt, please ensure all items are inspected on receipt.

For goods damaged during transit, retain all packaging and the item as these will need to be inspected by the courier as part of the claim procedure. Refund amount will be based on compensation provided by courier.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 50% of the original selling price from the refund amount.

Personalised products should not be returned. Personalised gifts are made to order and therefore will not be resaleable.

Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods when received, upon return of the unused goods to us.
